Sunday Devotional and private thoughts

When you reach the end of your rope You will find the hem of his garment...
I would rather live my life as if there is a God, and die to find out there isn't,
than live my life as if there isn't, and die to find out there is.

  2. That last quote is one of my favorites ..... whenever anyone I know expresses that they're not sure if there is a God or not, I just ask "and how's that attitude workin' for ya?"

Not likely that we're going to have much in the way of concrete proof anytime soon .... might as well take the road paved with love and hope :)

  3. Molly... I love this post... it reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Albert Einstein.."There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle."

Thanks also for your comment re: So, God... blog... My favorite thrift store is one supported by the Catholic Missions and run by the nuns in Hernando, Mississippi... but it's a little far away for me to donate these days. There's also one in Seguin, TX that we donate to, called "The Silver Center Thrift Shop", it's run by the senior citizens of that little town. I love the story of your niece in Brookhaven. My grandparents were dairy farmers with a farm between Monticello and Tylertown... bet you know where that is! Blessings. Dixie
