Tuesday Show and Tell

I am so happy today, I finally got my desk top computer back, it had been in ICU for 4 weeks, but now my baby is up and running smooth. I have switched Drs. and this one seems to know what he is doing. The first guy I took it to has been working on my computers for 7 yrs. This is my 3d computer, he tells me that there is no hope for them or they will cost too much for him to fix, I'd be better off buying a new one. This time, I had heard about a new guy in town and just took it to him instead of buying a new one..he put in a new power supply and mother board for less than 150.00. So much cheaper than buying a new one and he also saved all my settings and programs..no redoing a new computer, of course this time I was prepared I used carbonite to back up all my pictures and Documents, music and favorites...so I didn't loose anything. I have now purchased or was given for my Anniversary (I bought, he paid for) an external hard drive which is the bomb...love it. Hopefully no more lost pictures...anyways I'm back for awhile...lol...

Today I am joining Tuesday Show and Tail over at West Virgina Treasures, be sure and click on the link and check out all the other great pictures.
This morning I woke up extra early and because it was so cool and pleasant outside for the first time in months, I grabbed my camera and headed outside, the mushrooms are growing wild in this rainy weather we are having, and I wanted to see what new kind I could find, while snapping away and getting bitten by the ants that are everywhere right now...the ground is covered and you don't even know they are there till YOU get covered, ouch, ouch ouch...I heard a sound..oh no....don't you dare, its a frog begging for rain...maybe he's hanging up here to avoid all the ants on the ground...can you see him, he was so tiny, that if he hadn't been on the brick I probably wouldn't have sen him. He looks like a piece of tree bark.
I love how his little toes look like fingers holding on to the brick...he just set there staring at me while I snapped away. The brighter ones I took with the flash...and he didn't move a muscle..guess he thought he was invisible....lol...

Finding Beauty Friday

Good morning Dear Friends, I'm sorry I've not been a good friend and visited much lately but I'm afraid like all of us life has gotten in the way, more than I'd like for it too...but today I am joining Claudia's "Friday Finding Beauty" event on Dipity Road. Today all the participating blogs can post whatever they like on their blog that touched them in some way and made them feel, see, or appreciate a moment of beauty in their lives.
Beauty comes in all sizes, shapes and forms. Some you can see and touch, others you can only feel in your heart today I am sharing some of the simple things in life that bring beauty into my world, small simple things that some people might not consider beauty at all but I do, cause for just a second it brings a smile to my face or a special memory to heart....
Like this little frog I captured staring at me when I went to close my blinds...lol..captured my dirty window too, but that's fine...it just shows that I am needed and can see what I am looking at...

or this Crane I have been trying to capture on camera for several weeks, his mate doesn't come close enough to take a picture, even with a long zoom, it is too dangerous to stop for long on the bridge to get a good shot. They have made their home on the small lake near my house..
or maybe this beautiful palest yellow butterfly, it's little eyes are pink and all the markings are so pale you can't see them too good...
I enjoy the beauty of the sound of bubbling water from my water fountain...it seems so cool and refreshing
You may ask what is so beautiful about a dying plant?...well, it reminds me of how beautiful my  Lillies where and the empty pod lets me know there will be twice as many next year, the seeds will carry on new life...
I have an abundance of beautiful blue butterflies this year and I love watching them flutter around..such beautiful creatures they are...
I love the look and smell of my yard after a quick summer shower, it makes everything smell so fresh and the water drops look like glizzing diamonds, I love how the drops of rain hang on my chives
and puddle on the elephant ears if you look close you can see little refection's in the drops...
I find beauty in the little surprises that you find tucked under your plants, like this Biddy n Hens under my Geraniums
or the beauty of a mosquito Hawks hoovering over the plants in the yard...
I also find beauty in the abundence of food God has graced me with from our garden
I really find beauty in the dance of the Bubble Bees as they flitter from flower to flower gathering the pollen to make honey and spread the pollen needed to bring forth fruit....

I have learned over the years that the small and simple things are ere true beauty lies. Take a walk around your yard today and breath in the glory of the simple things and you will discover what a truly wonder world God has given us

playing around and hoping to get back to normal

Well, 2 post in 1 day, I'm doin better...I finally went to the Computer Hospital today and picked my puter up...no it's not fixed but I was tired of waiting for this guy to decide to come to work and fix it. I found another gentleman who works on computers and he is working on it as we speak. Hope to have it back soon. The other guy kept it 2 weeks and didn't do anything to it....aghhhh... also found out that the last computer he worked on for me and told me I needed a new one and I lost all my info, well he could have fixed it...live and learn.
I have been playing with my photo shop program and thought I'd share a few of my "works of Art"..lol..lol..
I am hoping, and wishing and praying that I have my Puter back soon, all my pictures are on it and I saved them on Carbonite so they aren't lost, but this lab top won't hold all of my pictures and music and other programs.

Blue Monday

It's Blue Monday over at Sally's house. .Please visit Smiling Sally by clicking here.....

This year for the first time in a couple of years our Keefer Pear tree was loaded, these are the sweetest juicest pears I've ever had, the birds, squirrls and even butterflies and bees just loved them. There were so many I could save them all and every morning the ground was covered with butter flies and Bee's busy eating away. The grass some mornings looked like a carpet of Bees.

just loved the pretty colors of this one....
I don't know if it's this silly laptop or Blogger, but I am having fitts trying to get this post done...so I will leave it as is and promise to do better later.
