Today I am joining Tuesday Show and Tail over at West Virgina Treasures, be sure and click on the link and check out all the other great pictures.
This morning I woke up extra early and because it was so cool and pleasant outside for the first time in months, I grabbed my camera and headed outside, the mushrooms are growing wild in this rainy weather we are having, and I wanted to see what new kind I could find, while snapping away and getting bitten by the ants that are everywhere right now...the ground is covered and you don't even know they are there till YOU get covered, ouch, ouch ouch...I heard a sound..oh no....don't you dare, its a frog begging for rain...maybe he's hanging up here to avoid all the ants on the ground...can you see him, he was so tiny, that if he hadn't been on the brick I probably wouldn't have sen him. He looks like a piece of tree bark.
I love how his little toes look like fingers holding on to the brick...he just set there staring at me while I snapped away. The brighter ones I took with the flash...and he didn't move a muscle..guess he thought he was invisible....lol...
I love the Gray Tree Frogs! When we moved to the woods is when I first found them! I had a great time posing one for pictures! They are amazing the way they blend into the bark!
ReplyDeleteThey're sweet little creatures, knowing their place in things. I love their little sucky feet that climb such vertical walls, even on glass.
ReplyDeleteI'm SO glad we (and especially Y'all) are getting some weather that will let us outdoors.
He's a cutie! I've been seeing lots of different kinds lately.
ReplyDeleteFor a frog he's really cute clinging to that brick.
ReplyDeleteHey Molly!
ReplyDeleteGlad you got your computer back!
You have a good eye for finding all of God's little creatures! He looks so cute! I'm going to have to keep my eye open a little more to see if I can find one of these little guys around my house in the woods. There would have to be some don't you think?
You did a great job taking his picture too!
Tuesdays' Show & Tail!
