I believe beauty is anything that makes you smile or warms your heart. Maybe something that takes you back to a happier day and time..
I was reading some of my favorite blogs this morning when I clicked on Southern Lagniappe, she was talking about cows, cows and more cows..and their sweet innocent beauty. At first I laughed, but then it struck me as "this is beauty" I realized I was transported back to my Childhood when I looked at her picture, and it made me smile.
by the way she is one of the greats photographers I know...you can check her out at Southern Lagniappe.
I had to go to the Beauty shop this morning and it was pouring down rain, And the rains came down...
Fortunately I go to a shop that is about 4 miles from my home, in the country, so I get to enjoy a nice trip on my way there. I always have my camera handy and on a little cut of road between the 2 highways. I found these...aren't they cute, poor babies where getting so wet.
Thanks for reminding me that beauty is truly in the eyes of the the beholder. Be sure and check out the other Finding Beauty Friday post...you might be surprised where you find beauty.

Oh, those cows do not look happy! LOL Poor things!
ReplyDeleteOOOh cant you just hear them? "my hair will never look the same." or "and i thought hot flashes were bad!" :)
ReplyDeleteWe could have alot of fun with this...
thanks so much for sharing... it is quite something and beautiful!
thanks for participating!
Claudia
poor guys they sure look washed out. The rain looks relentless. It makes me think of when we are going thru the storms of life and it seems the sun will never break...but alas, it does finally shine thru and there is hope.
ReplyDeleteAwww, Molly ... what great pictures. I had to go to Jackson in the rain yesterday, and passed several pastures with cows all huddled together, and I felt so sorry for them. I also noticed how pretty the water looked running down the soggy slopes I passed. There truly is beauty in everything around us ... we just have to look for it.
ReplyDeleteThank you for mentioning Southern Lagniappe, and for your sweet comment. That means a lot to me.
Sincerely,
Janie

ReplyDeleteOh Molly Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteI love this post. Aren't these critter cows just the cutest thing ever? They appear to be saying, "Hey could you spare an umbrella or two?" They are just drenched and look cold. God Bless the animals.
Thanks for sharing. I hope you took a pretty good umbrella yourself, as getting your hair done, it will be all messed up before you got home. I go tomorrow myself thank goodness. I need a lift.
Have a beautiful evening sweetie. As always it is such a pleasure to visit with you. Country hugs and so much love...Sherry
Amazing critters...but they do look miserable...it really was RAINING!
