Prayers please....

Sorry I am posting so late today, I woke up with a terrible cold and croup this morning and went to the Dr. It is just starting and I plan to be like Barney Fife, and..... nip it in the bud......

before this weekend and my trip gets here.

Now I guess you think I'm asking for prayer for me, but no that's not what I am asking. I received a call from my DDIL this evening, she had told me that Red man, Connor, my youngest Grandson, was going to have a physical for Jr High Baseball last Thurs.

Well it seems she received a phone call from the Dr and he had found an unusual heart beat, so he had the Youth Cardiologist check him out and he also heard the unusual sound, so they will be doing a Echo gram this coming Thurs. He hasn't been feeling well for awhile and just has no energy and gets tired so easy. We are praying it is nothing. There is a history of Heart murmurs in our family, when my oldest GS Keifer was 3 days old they found a murmur and slight tear in the heart lining, but by 6 he had out grown it. My DH has a heart murmur and irregular heart beat. I am asking for y'all to keep him in your prayers. We are trying to be positive, But we are not telling him anything yet, he is an old soul and worries about everything. When the Dr told him he wanted to talk to his Momma he started worrying, So we feel it is best to not tell him everything more than he needs to know, she will pick him up from school Thurs and will tell him about the test on the way to take it..I know he should be told but he would be sick as a dog by next Thurs.

Thank you for stopping by. I am headed to bed, I had to take a shot and 3 meds and boy is my throat hurting.

Good night my dear friends I will try to catch up and read every new post tomorrow.

  6. Molly, I just got home from Brett's ballgame. I hope you are in bed by now and getting some rest. You need to get better.

Prayers for your grandson. Tachacardia(sp?)or rapid heartbeat, runs in Phillip's family. You may have heard him talk about taking a ride in an ambulance last year. He rarely has a tachacardia anymore, but last year while coaching third he had one and could not get his heartrate to slow down. There are breathing exercises to slow down the heart. So, an ambulance was called and he went to the ER. Britnee told me that last week she was having rapid heart beat. Phillip discovered that he had this when he was Britnee's age. Phillip called her and told her what she needed to do. I am sure the doctors will get your grandson straight and he will be feeling better soon.

  7. Well you poor thing. That croup is nothing to mess with.

I hope Connor's heart checks out okay. You know my son has Marfan's disease among other things and the funny heartbeat was one thing that tipped them off. But with medicine it is being controlled and he just goes about life.

I'll give the prayer wheel a big spin for Connor.
