Hello and good morning! What fun plates those are. I love roosters, too and am just waiting to have a house to incorporate them in. ;-)
The center picture in my blog header is called, "Carolyn" by Noritake. It is a beautiful soft pattern. Thank you for noticing. If your MIL has it, what a lucky woman she is! I just got mine this year, it is my wedding china.
Wow, you have an interesting collection. I especially like the one with the old Ford 8N tractor. My family owned a tractor dealership for 60 years and I've seen that model so many times. Happy Twirls
Wonderful collection .... and i was thinking that i know the lovely lady with the purple hat is yours, but as for the rest, you paint so beautifully, that i would never know if one was purchased or created :)
Ohhh my...you have a fabulous collection of decorative plates! The Little Rascals plate is a classic...what a treasure!!! My favorite plate...the one with the red barn, chicken and rooster! It's really beautiful...love the colors!!! It looks to be handpainted? Did you paint it? So beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing your lovely decorative plate collection with all of us...
Thanks Chari, actually that one is a 3-D plate that DH gave me when he first remodeled my kitchen 9 yrs ago. He saw it on sale somewhere and suprised me with it. I painted the Lady plate, the mailman chicken and the cute little cow with chicken on it's back.
