Last week I posted an item called Thrift Store Treasures...$1.50 total.... I promised I'd let y'all see what I did, with the fruit bowl...now I'm not good at anything but decorative painting, so this prim is untested to me. I also told y'all that the fruit bowl screamed prim at me when I said...humm now what do I do to this?...lol...some of these items can be so pushy and really have minds of their own.
This is a picture of the before I sanded it down good first then put 2 coats of midnight blue paint on it, let it dry good between each coat and them sanded the areas that where more likely to get worn the most.

and this is the after. I do believe I like it. Can't wait to finish my redwork napkins to place in it.
