This was posted Wednesday, January 7, 2009, it was one of my first post.....
This year I wanted to give my Children something special for Christmas. I have always loved to paint, doing people is one of my favorite things to do. But...I've never really done a person that I had to make look like someone special. So my year was filled with trail and error attempts to do these. Here is the final results....
Keifer and Marissa, Son of Ronnie and Daughter of Ronnie and Mindy Smith
Lance and Teresa Smith Wedding picture
Connor and Morgan Smith Son and Daughter of Chuck and Lori Smith
I have also done a couple more portraits and canvases of people.
Karter Smith Son of Missy and Kyrk Smith
Wow, those are some beautiful rendition...
ReplyDeleteMy goodness girl..you are SO on top of it. I have only managed two posts this week and the rest of the time I have raced around visiting checking out my fellow bloggy buddies..
ReplyDeleteMolly...you did great with those portrait drawings. :)
~smiles~
I am not going to have a thing posted on Sunday...sigh..just not a single dingy dang thing! :(
Hugs...

Painting portraits is soooo difficult -- capturing someone's look requires lots of skill and talent --- and you clearly have done this very nicely! Lovely portraits, thanks for sharing!
