Silver Sunday

I'm joining  Beth for Silver Sunday for the first time this week... If you love silver and want to see more... visit Beth at Gypsy Fish Journal..
The first item I have to show is a butter dish I founded at a new Venders Mall that just opened in Brookhaven, I really liked it even though it was so tarnished and dirty you really couldn't tell it was silver...

I like the fact that it has a glass plate in it to hold the butter.

After I got it home I went to work cleaning it and I think it turned out pretty good.

Not bad for $10.00...I think it turned out fine.
Yesterday when my Sis and I went to Hazelhurst junkin' I found these slotted serving spoons in a box and they were marked $2.00 each or 7 for $10.00 so I dug around and found these 7. The little knife is marked Sheffield England Silver.

I found this knife set at the same store for $4.00, it is marked Sterling Silver USA..

These are just a few of my Finds this week.
Hope you have a blessed week

  6. Fun to see that one of your pieces is Sheffield England. I posted a piece today from the same company. I had never bothered to check out the markings until today's post. I am learning new things about my own pieces. Thanks for sharing.
