It is time for 2nd Time Around Tuesday, hosted by Diane @ A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words. be sure to drop by Daine's blog and check out the other 2d time around items.........
Today I wanted to share a few more little treasures I found when Sis and I went junkin Fri. I showed the little jar and teapot yesterday on Blue Monday you can check them out here... and also showed my silver treasures on Silver Sunday, so to day I will show you several other little items I found that will be getting new life as is or with a Molly make over...lol...
The first item is a small pair of baby shoes that I got for $1.00. I have something very special planned for these, I hope to be able to show you on Artful Friday if not I will show you soon, so stay tuned, film at 11:00..
Next I found both of these food scales, which by the way are still working perfectly, at the same little shop in Crystal Springs and they only cost $3.00 for the smaller one and $4.50 for the other...these two will be a later painting project.
We found this neat set of brand new coffee cups at another store in Hazelhurst, I will be giving them to a special someone for their Birthday ...and they only cost $7.00 stand and all...This set of Thomas Kincaid cup and saucer with stand was a real bargain at $4.00, it will also be a gift to my DIL who collects TK items....
This set, of a gravy boat with attached plate and large platter will find a home with ME, I have a weakness for platters and matching bowls and what a bargain, the platter was $3.00 and the boat w/attached plate was only $2.00. And I think the sweet little simple rose design is just too cute.
Ok, that's enough for today, still have a couple of items, but will show them on another post. Did I mention that I just love junkin'? Wonder why they call it junkin' I don't think a single item I bought this week can be called junk, Do you?

ReplyDeleteHey there was a quote yesterday I was thinking about when you talked about color and I found it today.
Color is so important in our lives -
"The world speaks to me in colors,my soul answers in music."
~Rabindranath Tagore
Color is like music to some of us.
