It's time for 2 of my favorite Memes,,,,,Shadow shot Sunday over at Hey Harriet's. and Scenic Sunday
Last Tues I had to take my Granddaughter home so she could go to school and I spent the night and next day in Jackson, while I was shopping around I went to the Dogwood Festival Shopping Center where I saw these cute little guys, I could have just kick myself for leaving my camera at home, but I did have my cell phone and managed to get a couple of shots..are they the cutest bronze statues you've every seen.
Shadow Shot
My Scenic shot was taken by my DIL while they were in New Orleans last week end for their 10th Anniversary. The shot is taken from their Hotel room over looking the Mississippi River, you can see the Aquarium, the River boat, Hurrahs Casino and across the River is Algiers. Thank you MinMin for letting me use your Beautiful picture....
Love your shadow shot, they certainly are cute. And the other photo is the first I have ever seen of the Mississippi River ..I remember the trouble I had in learning to spell Mississippi when I was very young at school ;-)
ReplyDeleteThe little bronze statues are adorable..great shadow shot! Lucky you had your cell phone, and I like your daughter-in-law's picture, too..that would be astounding to wake up to...:)
ReplyDeleteGreat shots.
ReplyDeleteI love your shadow shot, Molly, and that view of the Mighty Mississippi is stunning.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for a happy Sunday, and a wonderful week.
Great shadow shot!! Lovely scenic one too :-)
ReplyDeleteI could swear that river-shot was taken from the Mariott, where we used to go to Sunday Brunch, high above the river.
ReplyDeleteYou find the most wonderful little "no words needed" vignettes everywhere. Part of it is probably your Painter's Eye, which just singles out small scenes which capture a moment.
I DROOL OVER THOSE BRONZE STATUES EVERY TIME I GO TO DOGWOOD. GOOD SHADOW SHOT.
ReplyDeleteYou took a great shadow picture. I also love the word Mississippi! sandie
ReplyDeleteI've seen the little guys and they are cute.
ReplyDeleteLuv the shot of NO's.
