Good news...I'm all smiles today

Good morning My dear friends, I am so happy this morning. I got up at 3 Am to make a bathroom run and of course, did what I do every night 3 or 4 times..look to see if my Levi was back...sad..no he wasn't. I decided he wasn't going to come back and went back to bed a little bit sadder.
I got up at 5:30 to take my meds and just glanced out and look what I saw...
My heart jumped for joy. His collar was gone, his head was swollen, he was hungry, and he was so sore he couldn't move, but lol, he still tried to stand on his hind legs and dance, just couldn't get up there.
I want to thank all of you so much for your prayers and Sherry that prayer last night gave his Angel the energy for the last push to get him home..
We don't know what happen and as DH said we probably would never know, but he is home and I will buy him a new collar, he can sleep as long as he likes and he will have soft foods for awhile since he can't seem to chew his dry dog food.
Ryan our neighbor Vet is going to stop by this morning and check him out good.
Again thank you all so much. My heart is singing today, one of my family has returned and is safe again.

  1. Oh, Molly, I still have chill bumps running up and down my spine after reading that Levi found his way home. I can't tell you how happy I am for you ... and for Levi. I know he's glad to be back home and will thrive in your tender loving care.

  3. Oh Molly Sweetie...
Praise God from whom All Blessing Flow. Yes, I am so happy. Thank you Lord for bringing Levi back to Molly. She needs him and he needs her. These critters are our greatest comfort.

Molly, I wonder if someone had him chained up and he kept pulling until he finally got off his collar and free? Maybe that is why his head is swollen. Well, the vet can check him out, and he is safe now. He has come home.

What a wonderful day this is going to be Molly. Hug him once for me would you?

Love ya girl. Country hugs and much love, Sherry

  5. That is such great news! Our prayers were answered!
Perhaps the collar caught as he went under a fence or something and he had to work his way out of it.
As you said, probly never know. Just great that he is home!

Chris stood and read with me---we've both been thinking of you and praying for Your Boy's safe return.

  7. I was concerned that perhaps someone decided to keep him and tied him out so he could not come home to you!!! He could have finally pulled back enough to slip that collar and return! I'm so happy for you and for Levi! Take good care of him, and give him a hug for me too, please!!!
