It is time for 2nd Time Around Tuesday, hosted by Diane @ A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words. be sure to drop by Daine's blog and check out the other 2d time around items.........
Good morning fellow treasure hunters, isn't finding little treasures that others have thrown away so much fun? I just love it. My heart has even been know to skip a beat when my eyes spot a special item...lol...my DH says he thinks everything I see must be special. WELL Yes, yes it is....grinning...
I am going to a large yard sale Sat. in Jackson at the MS. AG. building that is held every year and folks from all over the state can rent a booth and sale their "junk" oh, I am so excited. Thanks to The Japanese Redneck for telling me about it...she is such a sweet and talented lady you should check out her blog here.
I was suppose to go to the Natchez Spring Pilgrimage today but with the rain and bad weather moving in Sis and I decided to wait till next week. Darn that would have been 2 days of junkin' this week. Well now, you didn't think I'd go to Natchez and not get SOME junkin' in did you?
OK enough chit chat, now back to the real important stuff, I stopped by my local favorite treasure hole Fri. when I ran to town and really didn't find much that caught my eye, (I said much) but I did find these 2 little glass treasures,
I thought this little bottle with the glass stopper would look good in my bath with bubble bath in it.
and for .50 cents, I just couldn't pass it up. (notice my blown bulb, I didn't until I took this picture, must change it out)
I also had to have this glass pitcher, it is very thin and delicate, it looks like a martini pitcher...but on the bottom is written, MADE IN THE USA....PYREX....DO NOT USE ON TOP OF RANGE...made in the USA had me from the start...lol..it is just the perfect size to mix my sugar free peach tea in, and for $2.00, home it came.
Well that's my little treasure finds this week, nothing really special, but to me real treasures and they are usable. And I spent a total of $2.50. Nice.
You got a couple or really nice seconds. I like that it was from the good old USA and I love sugar free peach tea.

I like the "usuable" things, too -- we enjoy them so much more if we get to actually use 'em for something! They don't get put away or gather dust.
ReplyDeleteThat big junk sale coming up sounds so good! Bet you will have some real finds to share next week.
You did quite well...especially for only $2.50!
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I hope it's worth the drive up Molly. I really hate I can't make it. 1st horse show for MS Western.
ReplyDeleteFinds some good stuff!!!
