This past Saturday, I kept my Grands while them Mom and Dad where at the Hospital with her Dad, who had a stroke and had to have a pacemaker put in to help his heart pump properly.
I really enjoyed their visit..they are two sweet little ones who you never know are here...
They are so hard at work...lol..too bad they don't study and concentrate this hard...

Levi, loves where MooMoo is here, she loves him to death...
There Mom dropped them off at 6:00 AM, around 7:30, we went to several yard sales and I found several nice 2d time around items...
look at this, crocheted blanket, isn't it beautiful and I only paid $2.00....I found 1 small hole that my Sis said she could fix.
this little cloche was a big old .25 cents...
I found this silver plated vase for .20 cents
I just love this little glass thingie, have no idea what it was used for but I plan to use it to hold a pot plant on my patio table...2d time around... I found this little honey pot and plan to use it to keep honey in and leave sitting on my table. I washed the pot in the dish washer and added a new cork...it cost me 1.00...
After we shopped some and both kids found a couple of items a piece and I forgot to get pictures before they took them home...we can home and I cleaned my car port and did a little work on the patio..while the kids did this...They are so hard at work...lol..too bad they don't study and concentrate this hard...
They get along so well and loves to watch each other play games and they are always laughing together...
That night we decided to fry fish in the fish fryer on the patio and we all set outside and watched DH fry the fish..don't you just love how interested they are in what is going on...lol...can you tell my babies are like their Granny; pure country..no shoes...lol...
Even outside they have to play their computer games...and watch movies..
Even into the night they play and watch...
We had some guest drop by, even after dark and with us sitting on the patio.
All in all we had a good, long full day, their Mom came and picked them up about 9:30...and they were so exhausted from all the hard work, they went home and went straight to bed....
and I'm sure I wasn't far behind them, I was wiped out. I woke up Sunday morning around 7:30 ready to take my shower and get dressed for Church, ...but no power..so I reported it and crawled back in bed..lights came back on about 10:15 and I woke up at lunch, we ate left over fish made into Cajun fish sandwiches and then I went back to bed and watched movies and dozed all evening...CAN WE SAY, GETTING OLD?
Let's call it a relaxing day. You got up so early the day before and went shopping and the next day you rested. Sandie

What a fun day with your grandkids! They sound/look so well behaved and nice and they even like to go treasure hunting with you! Glad it was a good day! And I totally think extra sleep is the way to go:)
ReplyDeleteYou sure hit the jackpot with those grands, Molly. Very good-hearted and decent down-home kiddos. There is hope for the new generation, if more were like your grands!
