  1. What a sweet, innocent boy, and what a lesson! How wonderful things would be if we could all look at everything through the sweet, honest gaze of a little child.

I'm learning things every day in a new light, simply because of keeping company with a two-year-old. We sing and dance and often wear hats---sometimes potholders or napkins.

Snow is an eternal wonder; Christmas lights the magic of my own childhood, and putting together letters into words---straw into gold.

God Bless all little children, and all those who keep them in their care.

  2. That is so precious, Molly! Oh, yes, the innocence of a child...no wonder Jesus told us to be like them! I can just imagine how you wanted to keep the little praying boy where he belonged, but isn't that just like us in real life, about so many things? And isn't it amazing how the Lord so carefully appoints situations to teach us to be flexible!

Yours is the first comment I've left since last Tuesday, and will probably only visit one or two more, but if I don't get back to my computer before Christmas, may yours be filled with the love, peace, and the beauty of our precious Lord, Jesus.

    God bless,
    Mary

  3. What a beautiful Christmas story! I'd leave it as part of the nativity too. You obviously taught your son well. Happy Blue Monday and Merry Christmas!

  4. Oh I like that nativity scene with an innocent child kneeling to pray that makes me remind what we have to do this season, pray. Merry Christmas!
