Blue Monday...the glory of his light shines through
Good Morning fellow bloggers and dear friends...It is time for Blue Monday over at Sally's house. Please visit Smiling Sally by clicking here
For my blue Monday I'd like to share a couple of pictures I made Sat. the Morning after Christmas...my Sister and I decided to Celebrate our Christmas together the day after, by catching some of the after Christmas sales ....
I got up very early and left home before sunrise, as I was making my way through Brookhaven going to pick her up, this is the scene that greeted me in down town Brookhaven, the sun just peeking up over the Grand Old Lady, the Inez Hotel, built in 1904...I stopped in the middle of the street to take the picture...of course there was no traffic at that time of day in our small town. The picture just doesn't do justice to the scene, click on pictures to enlarge them to get a better look....the next scene is one block East of the Inez, it is a shot of the sun coming up over the first Baptist Church, the original Church was built in 1901 The front section was added on in 1965.
I love the blue/grays that the first ray of sun turns the morning sky....
