I have tried to post a new blog, but am being told I have reached my picture limit. How do I delete pictures from my files without clearing past post? Also it I delete pictures from the Picasa files from blogs, will that delete the pictures from my private Picasa 3 files?
Any help would be appreciated.
Hmm, interesting questions. So do I understand that you can "fill" up your blog with too much stuff and therefore are going to be forced to start a new one? I'll be watching for any answers you get here.
ReplyDeleteI am at a loss also. I will be interested in any answers you get.
ReplyDeleteOh, I HAVE so been here and done that already!!!
ReplyDeleteHere's what I learned:
1) There is a ? or something on there that you can click and it will tell you how to PURCHASE more photo space - - - and it is only $20 a year and in my opinion it is worth it. I just paid for my second year.
2) You need to RESIZE your pictures. A picture from the camera takes up COPIOUS amounts of blog space. I use a free program called "gimp" to resize my pictures. This will keep you from filling up your blog space so fast. (there are also free online sites where you can resize your photos one at a time.)
3) Resizing your pictures will also make your blog load faster.
4) If you can't figure out how to do these things by yourself, find a computer genius friend and ask them to show/talk you through it. Once you start resizing, it is very easy. Your own picture program (which you use to put the photos on your computer) may do the resizing if you know how to do it. Mine doesn't, thus the gimp.
If I can be of further help, e-mail me. My profile has my e-mail address link.
Molly, what Keetha said...but you can get 20GB storage for five dollars a year now...pretty cheap...I also have a variety of Google accounts but they all feed into my main one, and I sometimes upload to the less-used albums but link them to my Penniwigs one...
ReplyDeleteI'd like to know about the Picasa file question. Can you just do Molly's Country Home Place 2? How are you doing? Miss you. Sandie
ReplyDeleteHey Molly, I have a blogger friend who just started a new blog. She had run into the same problem.
ReplyDeleteI was going to suggest that you consult Penniwig, but I see that she has already posted.
ReplyDeleteI know nothing, and am dumber than a box of rocks in this area!
That happened to me once too.
ReplyDeleteBy the time i asked for help, and checked into a couple of things, the sign had gone away and i did not see it again.
So???
Maybe wait and see?
It'll all be OK.
