My friend Beverly of How Sweet The Sound is hosting a PINK SATURDAY. Be sure and check out all the other pretty pink items over at her blog...
For my pinks this week, I have a few pictures that I took when I went to pick up my Sister for our girl's day out to Natchez lastr week. I just love the inside of her house, she loves 18th Century decor and she has a lot of our Granny's furniture that fits it just perfect...the first picture is of a pillow that I made her for Christmas a couple of years ago using the same method that I used in this post.
It isn't pink but the beautiful pillow beside it has lots of pink..

The next picture is of the old organ that set in the living room of the old farm house, since they built it in 1901 the pink in this picture is the dolls dress and the cushion on the stool she is setting on and the pretty rose border.
this picture is of the old table that was in the living room and the Bible on it is the same Bible that was there when we were growing up, the carpet has some pink in it so I think we can say it belongs in the pink Sat collection...lol...
This is the old wash stand that was on the back porch and a wash basin and pitcher much like this one set on it to wash up in, when we came in the house from playing or working in the barn. I love the dark pink flowers she has in this pitcher
The white and silver set on the top shelf is a set that belonged to Momma, she loved it and when she started collecting it she would buy 1 piece at a time, some times having to put it on lay a way and paying it off and then buying another piece, I know it doesn't have pink in it but the other 2 sets do.
Next are 2 sets of dishes that I helped her collect, we found a lot of them in Flea Markets and some on Ebay, I really love these sets, here is a close up of the set on the middle shelf.
The next picture is a close up of the beautiful pink roses on the set on the bottom shelf....
Hope you enjoyed my pink Sat offerings and will come back to visit sometimes...
