It is time for 2nd Time Around Tuesday, hosted by Diane @ A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words. be sure to drop by Daine's blog and check out the other 2d time around items.........
This week, my 2d time around item is made with this glass candle stick, the one in the center...I found several candles sticks one day while junkin' and I remembered a post I had seen several days before, but I am sorry, I don't remember what blog it was on...if it is your idea, if you will let me know I will gladly give you credit for the idea, it wasn't mine, but I really liked it..
So I took the candle stick and
this
a plain little bowl and my handy tube of Gorilla glue and madethis....
Isn't it the neatest little footed dish, well I filled it full of soft green glass beads and added it to my new bathroom redo,
I've seen that idea too, but it was to make a cloche. Your footed dish is creative. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteMolly, I haven't seen that idea and it is a wonderful one, can't wait to dig out my old glass candle holders and make some.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a happy Tuesday.
Barbara
PS This is a beautiful blog.
Love it in your bathroom redo. Good way to salvage something and reuse it for another purpose.

Love it! You are a trash to treasure princess! Love the project!
ReplyDeleteI got to get me some of that glue you used! Because that is such a sweet idea for using vintage things. I have often seen candlesticks, mismatched, and wondered what could be made from them...that's useful, too!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Molly, that is just the cutest!!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I need to hunt around my house and come up with some stuff to glue together now!

Neat idea, Molly!...Christine
ReplyDeleteHow cute and how smart. I have the same little glass candle holders in my bathroom by the tb. How smart of you to do something different with them.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Have a great evening.
