  1. Isn't it so interesting to watch the birds laying the eggs and parenting their young. It's funny, because that's exactly what my post was about this week! I think it's been really interesting that this has happened so often in this group that follows the "Tuesday Show & Tails!" No one PLANS it, but so very often several of us will have the same idea about posting. This week seems to be about bird's lives. Linda

  2. Molly,

I've been sitting here, just smiling and chuckling in the dark, looking at your babies and their proud parents taking such good care of them.

Thank you for this BRIGHT start to the morning!!

Your photography is just wonderful, and your relationship with your tiny subjects is just delightful. They seem to trust you with their little family, and that's a magical thing.

I especially love all their little fluffy hairdos!

  3. You captured some beautiful shots - the eyes - the poses of the birds - wonderful! 2 weeks ago I saw my very first Michigan Bluebird - I've never seen one in real life before - it was inspecting a bird house in our garden. I know they prefer fields vs wooded areas, and I'd be surprised if one chose one of our bird houses, but I was thrilled to see a Bluebird, just the same!

  4. We have them too Molly. I'm just not sure how many. We enjoy watching mom/dad feed them.

  5. How precious!!! What excellent photos you got of them! The newborns look like lil' thumbs, who could believe how darling they will look in a few weeks. Mama birdie sure is brave to catch spiders like that!

  7. Wow! That is just incredible Molly! You are so lucky to have gotten to see the Blue Bird family from the beginning! Your pictures are just BEAUTIFUL!!!! I have seen the blue birds flying around our house but I have no idea where they are living. We do have a nest box for them but I don't think they ever use it.

Thanks so much for sharing these amazing pictures with us Molly! They are over the top wonderful!!!!

  8. I have to say this is one of the most impressive things I've seen. Great photography and you must have their trust. Seeing the babies with their mouths open. The parents with the bugs. Your smilebox show. Great job!
