My coffee collection, everything old is new again...

Thrifty Thursday takes place each Thursday and is hosted by Leigh at Tales from Bloggeritaville,

It's Vintage Thingie Thursday over at Colorado Lady's place...don't forget to go by and tell Suzanne how much you appreciate her sponsoring it for us...
I think some of the items in my new collection can qualify for Vintage,
When we went to Louisiana a couple of weeks ago, I found several items that just seemed to fit together in a collection..the first was this individual coffee maker, it is made out of ceramic and has Melitta written on the front, when I bought it I wasn't sure what I'd do with it, but when our lights went out Sunday,
I figured out real quick, that it made a mean cup of coffee if you couldn't use your electric pot...
The next item is a Glass Maxwell House coffee jar, I don't know if this is very old or not, but I liked the
The writing on it and thought it would be perfect to store my coffee in...
the next item was a coffee measure, I won't be using it, but thought it would look good in the arrangement..
it reads "ABOVE ALL OTHERS" National Crest Coffee
coffee CASWELL Measure, is written in the spoon...
and you know I couldn't pass up this cute little gingerman cookie cutter....
The last item, I know doesn't relate to coffee, but I just couldn't pass it up, so I decided to use it to hold my coffee is an old metal ice box meat says meat on the front...

  1. Molly, I loved seeing your new treasures, and especially enjoyed listening to "Sweet Beulah Land" while I looked at them.

Hope you are having a glorious Holy Week.

  2. My favorite is the coffee measure.

  3. Molly,

Thank you for sharing this sweet vignette this morning! I love little tableaux like this in an unexpected place, especially in the kitchen.

I just finished my First Cup, and the day awaits. I have a feeling you'll soon be smelling the nice vinegar tang of egg dye from all the way up here. Now where did I put those fuzzy bunny ears last year?

  4. Okay - so next time your lights are off, you're still going to have a cup of coffee!

Nice items and great price Molly.

    Hoppy Easter.
