First let me say, I won't be posting as much for awhile. I am having a reoccurance of a medical problem that leaves me feeling pretty bad and just not in the mood or state of mind to post very much... I would like to ask all my readers to please keep me in your prayers.
Several weeks ago, DH and I took a road day trip to Ponchitola, La., you can read about it here.
We have such a good time and enjoyed looking at the old treasures, while there I saw this tricycle sitting near the front door. I asked the owner about it and he said, it wasn't for sale, Yet. He had bought it for his oldest son when he was 4 and now that he was 16, he let him put it on display ...so I got a nice picture of it....He also said that it was originally from the 50s. It is in great shape to be nearly 60 yrs old.
While we were there I decided I had to go to the rest room and yes, believe it or not..they did have a public restroom, something most places in our area doesn't have...I just loved the wall paper..and had to get a picture, loved the touches of red in the magazine pages...They had used old Magazines pages to cover the walls with...Guess they wanted to give you some reading material, that no one could run off with, while you did your job...BTY, someone had tried to peel some of the pages off the wall..how sad, they are nice enough to furnish folks with a bathroom and some people have to try to mess it up. Had a hard time getting this shot, since room was very dark with light off and with it on the shiny pages left a glare on picture.
