Thursday evening I traveled to Richland to watch my sweet Rissa Kat sing in a school program. She is in the 3d grade and they had a special program in honor of Earth Day. I tried to get some good pictures but I was running late and didn't get a very good seat...I just love trying to take pictures and every time you get the camera focused someone moves in front of you...lol..I know they didn't do it on propose, but I really wanted to scream.."hey, you down there in front please remove your head and lay it to the side till after the program"....After the program we went to Chedder's for supper and since it was 9:30 by then and I didn't want to drive the hour trip by myself that late, I just spent the night...the last 3 pictures I took are my pink Sat pictures..
Here are a few I took of Rissa, some are ok some have extra heads in them...
Waiting to get started... she's the smallest one in her class
And still waiting...
Ohhh, I hope I don't forget the words...
Belting it out...
Doing the bump with her partner...lol..her partner bumped her right off the bench they were standing on...She was on the end and when the little girl next to her bumped her she flew off the side of the bench to the floor...we all had to laugh...
Almost got it snapped before he moved..Aghhhhhhhhhh...
It was a losing battle, she's down there behind the sea of people...
See the folks in front of me, Usually they were in front of Rissa....
She was so glad it was over, ..so sweet, she's Daddy's little girl
And my little touch of pink comes from Rissa's room and her cute little Callie Kat that sleeps in Rissa's pretty pink covered bed...Callie really thinks she owns that bed, she did not want me in it at all...lol.."sorry Callie I plan on sleeping here tonight whether you like it or not"...Good night Sweet Rissa...
She decided to just pretend I wasn't there......
Hope you all have a Great Sat. We are having a wet stormy one, but we really do need the rain.
Molly, What a nice way to spend the evening. I know you are proud of Rissa Kat, she is darling and has a beautiful name.

She's so precious, Molly. I know she loved having you spend the night, too.
ReplyDeleteBe careful going home today ... we're supposed to have some stormy weather, but it hasn't reached Vicksburg yet.
Way to be Rissa- she's adorable!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!

"Do these shoes match this purse?"
Rissa is adorable - I bet she did great. The play looked cute. She tried really hard and I love the picture of her in the arms of her dad.
ReplyDeleteHer bedroom - adorable in pink too.
It's raining cats and dogs here in Georgia too.

Grandkids sure are the best!!!!! We have our first recital next weekend for tap and ballet and I just can't wait. Seems like yesterday I was watching their mom do tap and ballet. Almost felt like I was there at your performance, your little grand-daughter is a doll. Poor thing getting knocked off the bench. She must be a good sport to not get upset. Happy Pink Saturday Blessings Meg
