I have started trying to take good pictures and I think this is an art form in itself...
I was so sad to see that this is the last Art Work Friday, but am looking forward to the new Meme once a month, thank you DeeDee for hosting this amazing Meme, I have enjoyed seeing your and all of the talented ladies post every week.
Well as for the my art this week it has been put on the back burner for awhile, so much else going on and just haven't done much. So I decided to dig WAY back back to the 1980s, back when the painted sweatshirts were all the rage, I made enough every year to buy my kids Christmas presents, even bought a video camera one year because I had so much left over, now this was good because all of my paintings were done in a 1 1/2 month time period before Christmas, plus I worked full time also. To say I was a busy painter was an understatement...lol..below are a few of my shirts...

A lady brought me a picture of her home town in Ohio and want 3 of these done, I usually charged $10-20 and you furnish the shirt, but she refused to pay $20.00 each, she said they were to nice and took too much work for that and she paid me $40 a piece for them, (then her MIL didn't like it and gave it back to her, really hurt my feelings bad, but Rose Ann told be not to take it personally, that she didn't even like herself...lol, at least RoseAnn tried to give her something nice)
This had the pants to match, I put the tree on the pants leg, could find a good picture of it.
The shirt had the Duck head and the pants leg had a parade of ducks, see the right side of picture
I loved this set...pants were usually done free or both pieces for $15.00 or $20.00... I know I was extremely cheap, others where charging $25 and up...
This was on a size 2 small child...
Mary had a little lamb pattern a lady brought me to do on her Granddaughter's shirt...
This one was mine found a picture in a coloring book I liked...
A shower gift for a girl at work..from our team......done free...lol...
A gift for a friend that was getting married, hadn't added names when this picture was taken...
A quillow I paint for DH's Christmas present in 1994, from the boys,
3 sets I did in 1 day...sorry picture isn't that good, the one on the right had a champagne glass with bubbles on it...with roses....
Be sure and click on pictures to see painting better...wish I could find my other pictures of my paintings, I did so many for a couple of years that I didn't take pictures of all of them, didn't have time and no digital camera only 35 MMThank you again DeeDee for hosting this fun Meme.
