Bye Bye Birdie update..
I'm a very sad, but proud Momma this morning, I was working on my flowerbeds when I decided to check on my little ones, to my surprise this is what I saw...Where oh where did my other 4 babies go, could that be what I saw earlier this Morning and thought it was the Momma still feeding them? Could be...
I took pictures of my last little one and went back to working, with camera close by, about 5 mins later I caught movement at the door of the birdhouse, so I ran and got my camera and before I could get it turned on, I saw my baby fly from the Bird House to the big pine where it's Momma and Daddy where sitting. I went back and check the nest to be sure it was the little one flying and ...
YEP it sure was.. here is the empty nest, be safe my little ones, I will miss watching you everyday.

It's always a sad day and a proud day when a little one tests its wings for the first time.
ReplyDeleteYou were a WONDERFUL Landlady, and I know your tenants remember you fondly as they fly away.
And you can make me laugh out loud---that's no easy feat, either, at something I'm just reading!

It's kinda sad when they are gone. Already this a.m. I saw a new couple checking out our recently vacated house. Maybe we'll have a new family soon.
