I am connecting to Pink Sat... with Beverly at How Sweet The Sound
and
at Hey Harriet
OK, y'all it's Spring so that means my posts will either be about flowers, birds, yard work or my Grands ball games or other recitals...
Well today is no different it's about my little Rissa and her Gymnastics "display" no joking that's what they call it. It's just a program to let the parents see what the kids have learned this session.
Rissa has been taking Gymnastics for 2 years and she was promoted up to the advanced level, yeah, Rissa great job, there are some girls who have been trying to move up for 3 years.
I loved her little pink outfit with peace signs on it.
I went to Richland last night to watch her and took MooMoo with me.
Love the pretzel legs...lol..she was so keyed up and hyper...just couldn't sit still, she love Gym.
Waiting, waiting...
She just kept doing hand stands while she waited, her Mom told her after the program that was a no-no, and she was surprised the instructor didn't get onto her for it...maybe they understand her hyper energy.
Waiting again...
at last she gets to do flips and my camera decides to mess up and the battery died, time I changed batteries (always keep extra) they had moved on...boo...
She was showing out and clowning for the cameras...silly goose, she was so happy MooMoo was going to spend the night.
MooMoo clowning for the camera with her. Goodness Rissa is so little, her instructors call her the "Little Nat" She's 9 and MooMoo is 8. Love the shadow effect.
I've entered this shot in Hey Harriet's Shadow Shot Sunday....
After we left the program we went out to eat supper and celebeate...more about that later....very interesting place we went to...

  1. Go Rissa! Great pics, Molly! This brings back good memories. My youngest daughter was a gymnast from age 7 to 16. She quit after competing in Las Vegas and I promised her a brand new car of her choice if she won first place all around. Of course she did and she got her car and that was the end of it. She qualified for nationals prior to that and she was not looking forward to the practices 2 x a day all through her summer vacation so she quit. Oh well! Come and sign up for my giveaway!...Christine

  5. HAPPY PINK SATURDAY AND MOTHERS DAY MOLLY,
I SURE WISH I COULD BOTTLE UP RISSA'S ENERGY. SHE MAY BE TINY BUT YOU CAN SURE SEE THE MASCLES IN HER LEGS. I THINK IT IS A WONDERFUL SPORT FOR DISCIPLINE, SELF-ESTEEM, EXERCISE, AND OF COURSE OUR FUTURE NATIONAL GYMNAST.
HAVE A WONDERFUL WEEKEND FULL OF JOY AND NEW MEMORIES.
    HUGS
