Tuesday Show and Tell

Today I am joining Tuesday Show and Tail over at West Virgina Treasures, be sure and click on the link and check out all the other great pictures.
Good morning Friends, it is one hot day already here in South/Central MS. So that added to my frustration has made me one unhappy camper this morning...I had to get up early to redo my beautiful front flower bed... remember when it looked like this..
Can you imagine how I felt when I walked out Sunday morning and this is what it looked like....Of course the fence was laying down on the ground and my pretty glass bird feeder was broke. Well the first thing DH said, it's that dang Levi, he's so dumb I told you we didn't need him. Wrong, I Don't think the bed was big enough to fit him....this was taken before bed was built....if it had been Levi the hold bed would have been gone....
and it was too big to be ChiChi,...
so that left one culprit DH's precious Katie and I even busted her that evening laying in it, course she ran before I could get her picture....
Needless to say she is now back in the dog pen sleeping in the dog house. This is what it looks like this morning, all my pretty Ole Maids are broken down..but maybe they will come back.. I've said it before and I'll say it again Dogs and flower beds don't mix...

  3. Oh my, she really is a scamp. WHY do they do that??? Mine not only lay on things, but they EAT the dirt. Like they are some kind of giant furry earthworms. DIRT EATERS. The vet said (oh, he's so helpful), "They do that because they are mental." GREAT. Large, stinkin', expensive, plant-flattening MENTAL dogs!!!

  5. It's really hard to watch your hard work get smashed. I imagine your plants will bounce back with some time.

Was today hot or what?!?!? I felt like I was melting.

  6. Oh, Molly!

I do hope your flowers didn't fare too badly, and will spring back to attention.

We planted our whole garden in seeds two weeks ago, and the visiting 120 lb. GrandDog has run big huge paw-prints through the tiny little seedlings peeping up about ten times, and I caught the teensy one raising a leg onto my sage plant. THEN OUR bad boy was taking a leisurely stroll amongst the tiny green babies. Even the sunflowers---about six inches tall, are crooked and broken.

I'm just too glad to have the GrandBabies here to fuss much about plants.
