Blue Monday

On Blue Monday we show our beautiful blues and this week I have captured one of the most beautiful creatures God has created ...I was going to walk out my back door this morning when this beautiful butterfly fluttered by..... so of course I had to grab my camera and since ever time I tried to open the door it would fly away I took it through the back door window. and she was in the drive resting on a stone by my flower bed..
This first picture was taken on the dividing wall between car port and patio, DH had left a wrench there. I think it is so beautiful, it set there for along time, just opening and closing it's wings. Such an impressive sight.

    Hi Molly your photos are really good taken through the window. The butterfly is so pretty in blue. I have a similar photo of the same type butterfly. I was thrilled to capture it too. That was a couple of years ago and I haven't see another one since.

    Beautiful pictures, Molly. I haven't seen any butterflies yet. My lantana is just beginning to bloom and our butterfly plant is blooming, too, so, hopefully they will be here soon.

    Sorry about your flower bed. I know you could have cried when you saw it. All that hard work!
