My Simple Pleasures...A few good men...uh, Males..
I am joining a new Meme today that just caught my fancy, a simple meme called...Simple Pleasures and it's over at A Collection of this and That...come join us....
My Simple pleasure is watching the many beautiful birds that come to visit and grace my bird feeders..
Hope you have a great Day, I know I will, just watching my daily visitors drop by.
I love watching birds and these are beautiful. That picture of the soldier petting the cat and the other one below it....very touching....and a good reminder to pray for the soldiers.....
Those are the sweetest little furry friends. So enjoyable to watch them flit about and fill the air with song. I've been listening to birds outside my balcony all day long. Blessings to you and yours, Tammy P.S. I'm originally from Laurel, MS :)
Your birds are so pretty! I love to watch mine, too. Sometimes we even get birds that are not native to Long Island, which is a nice treat. Mostly there are jays, sparrows and beautiful cardinals. I also love my squirrels. We throw seeds and peanuts out for everyone. Some of the squirrels are so tame they will stand up at the back door waiting for their treats. The dog likes to chase them (he never catches) but the cats just stare at them.
What charming visitors you have, and what a warm welcome. I look forward to all your bright wonderful photos for the New Year, and I wish you the best and brightest!
One of my life's little blessings too! We have a little robin, sits on the bough of the lilac tree every morning as if to say, 'Come on hurry up, where's my breakfast? chop chop!!'
Such pretty boys! We're loaded with Cardinals here this year. Such bright spots of color in the trees and bushes. The Mrs's are very aggressive at the feeders.
Molly, Welcome to Simple Pleasures. You've captured the essence perfectly. I adore birds and am a bit envious of those who have such a front-row seat to their beauty. Thanks so much for linking up. Hope to see you often.
Wonderful yard birds and photos. I love watching the birds too. Happy New Years!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, Molly ... the Gold Finches should be here any day now.

Lovely birds. I saw one bird chasing another when I took my dog out this morning, but the small one got away.
ReplyDeleteBeing a Bird Lady myself, I love these pictures!
