I love a rainy night....

This morning while visiting several of my blogging friends a remark was made, just a simple remark of loving the feel of fall weather, and the hope of rain for today. Well for some reason this song, even though it isn't a song of Faith, popped in my mine and the though just as the words of this song says, "I love a rainy night to wash all my cares away and I wake up to a sunny day"
In our own Spiritual lives we need to love a rainy night(or time of trails) to help wash our troubles and uncertainities away and wake up in a bright new sunny day with our Lord. Some times we have to walk through the thunder and lightening to get to were we are suppose to be, but we can only get there with the help of our Lord and savior.
Please scroll down and turn my player off to listen to this song....

  1. That is so true! Some of our darkest times surely do help to mold us into who we are really meant to be:)

  4. This was always such a good song. He died too young...many of his songs were very, very good! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

  5. That Eddie Rabbitt song was always a favorite of mine. In fact, before I knew you were going to talk about it that is immediately what your blog title made pop into my mind!
I too cannot wait until the cool, crispness of fall weather and some rain too. It is my favorite time of year.
