Blue Monday

It's Blue Monday over at Sally's house. .Please visit Smiling Sally by clicking here.....
When we went to Kentucky we stopped at Hurricane Mills, TN. while wondering around I noticed a beautiful Blue Butterfly laying in the gravel and of course I had to get a picture of it, it was so beautiful...I thought it had to be dead it laid so still..that is until I got to close and it flew away...lol..guess it was just resting for awhile or maybe someone had spilled a coke and it was having a drink of sweet sugar
It was so beautiful, it looked like a piece of  breeze chiffon.

  1. It is beautiful, Molly, and even though I'm scared of butterflies, I like this blue one.

    Happy Blue Monday.

  2. Molly I honestly do not think I have ever seen a blue butterfly before. It is beautiful!

  3. That one looks similar to one I noticed last week - except mine was the deepest blue, almost black, with a lighter blue on the lower edges of the wings. Lovely flutterby!

  4. I think the butterfly is very pretty, but they are hard to capture. Too fast for me. I have been to Hurricane Mills several times and love it. But, I like most any part of the country music area.

  8. Molly, what a pretty butterfly. Seeing your pictures makes me want to go outside and see if I can find some in our yard. It's 93 right now, with a heat index of 107, so I probably will have to wait until it cools off some.

Thank you for sharing yours with us.
