Tuesday Show and Tell

Today I am joining Tuesday Show and Tail over at West Virgina Treasures, be sure and click on the link and check out all the other great pictures.
Good morning Friends, it is one hot day already here in South/Central MS. So that added to my frustration has made me one unhappy camper this morning...I had to get up early to redo my beautiful front flower bed... remember when it looked like this..
Can you imagine how I felt when I walked out Sunday morning and this is what it looked like....Of course the fence was laying down on the ground and my pretty glass bird feeder was broke. Well the first thing DH said, it's that dang Levi, he's so dumb I told you we didn't need him. Wrong, I Don't think the bed was big enough to fit him....this was taken before bed was built....if it had been Levi the hold bed would have been gone....
and it was too big to be ChiChi,...
so that left one culprit DH's precious Katie and I even busted her that evening laying in it, course she ran before I could get her picture....
Needless to say she is now back in the dog pen sleeping in the dog house. This is what it looks like this morning, all my pretty Ole Maids are broken down..but maybe they will come back.. I've said it before and I'll say it again Dogs and flower beds don't mix...

Blue Monday

Good morning my dear friends, it's Blue Monday over at Sally's house. .Please visit Smiling Sally by clicking here.....
On Blue Monday we show our beautiful blues and this week I have captured one of the most beautiful creatures God has created ...I was going to walk out my back door this morning when this beautiful butterfly fluttered by..... so of course I had to grab my camera and since ever time I tried to open the door it would fly away I took it through the back door window. and she was in the drive resting on a stone by my flower bed..
This first picture was taken on the dividing wall between car port and patio, DH had left a wrench there. I think it is so beautiful, it set there for along time, just opening and closing it's wings. Such an impressive sight.
Hope your week is good and the Butterfly of love fills you day with beauty.

Finding Beauty Friday..crawfish boil

I'm linking this post to "Friday Finding Beauty" event on Claudia's blog Dipity Road. Today all the participating blogs can post whatever they like on their blog that touched them in some way and made them feel, see, or appreciate a moment of beauty in their lives.
First let me say, I know some of my dear friends don't like to see wild critters killed and cooked and I respect that,
But my post today is about a great old tradition carried out by us folks in LA and MS and I must say it is fine....It's called crawfish boil and unless you've tasted the crawfish, Shrimp, sausage tators, mushrooms, corn and onions all cooked in the hot Crab boil you just ain't lived.
Sat we traveled to Richland to a boil my middle boy was giving his in-laws while they where here for MIL's birthday and Memorial Day. Charles, I, Lance, TT, Ronnie, Mindy, Marissa and the InLaws had a very good time. It would have been a lot more fun if it hadn't been so wet and muddy, but it rained most of the evening.
Ugly little booger wanted to fight...Everybody was kungfu fightingShelby is standing guard...
Lance and TT helping get the sausage ready
The rains are moving in, so they are making sure the tents are up...
Ronnie getting the food together, (he doesn't usually look this bad, but it is hot dirty work)
Got 3 cookers going, food coming out our ears...but it was so good...
Making sure no dead crawfish get into the pot...We all ate till we couldn't move...Sweet Bella wanted to join us but she had just returned from hospital and wasn't able to come outside...Our little girl enjoyed a swim..Me and 3 of my men. Chuck had to work and Keifer was on Vacation. lol...Ronnie cleaned up pretty good....Lance, Me DH and Ronnie
To me the fun, food and fellowship with family and good friends are the most beautiful thing in the world...
