Today my post is about some pictures I made on New Year's Day on my patio, it was so cold, a warm 23 degrees at 7 AM...brrrrrr...We all know if it is cold then you can expect to see Red Birds or as my Granddaughter like to correct me and say Cardinals...I was fasinated with how close these birds came to my sliding glass door...
This one found some grass seeds left over from the planting of food plots, on DH's 4 wheeler trailer
one of the many female Cardinals that was hunting something to eat...silly birds won't go to the feeders for some reason...maybe they are saving them till nothing is available on the ground...and of course DH spilled a little seed on the patio as usual, on purpose...lol..he loves to watch and see just how close they will come to the door....
you just can see this male Cardinal behind the wire Rooster...he got pretty close....
It's almost like he's thinking Woo now that's a big guy"
These are a little blurry because I had to take them through the sliding glass door, when I tried to open it or go out the other door and get better pictures they flew away..
OH look, here comes his mate, she wants what ever he has found...
lol...she never would pass big boy there, guess she wasn't as brave as her man....
I am also starting a new Grateful challenge today, that I found @ Digging in the Dirt
Suzie challenges her readers to name 1 thing on each post that we are grateful for....
I am Grateful for my eyes, that I may see the Glory of God's beautiful world. For with out them, I couldn't see the beauty of the Red Birds.
