Shadow shot Sunday

Happy 4th of July to all my friends in Blog land. Sorry I haven't been around much lately...but it has been one busy summer sofar for this old lady...lol..yep I can feel my age catching up with me.
We really enjoyed our trip and I have so much to tell y'all about, BUT...I am also keeping to very active 9 year olds who have really kept me running. More on them later. We are headed to Madison to visit and celebrate the 4th with baby boy so don't have much time today.
I just wanted to share a new meme I am joining called Shadow shot Sunday. over at Hey Harriet's. check her out.

While in Kentucky we went to an old  Cemetery called Travel's Rest or the Historic Issac Shelby Cemetery. It was so hot the day we went there BUT as soon as we turned into the shade cover entrance it was like stepping back in time, so cool and relaxing, you got a feel of peace.

The old home place still remains till today and is privately owned so we didn't get to tour it but I did get a few pictures from a distance and will post them later.
