Some thing to think about...

I received this in an email this week and it really got me to thinking, how true this is, I remember giving my oldest Grandson a Bible for his 5th Birthday and the other kids and some parents at the party thought it was a strange gift to give a Child for their BIRTHDAY, a day when they should be getting GOOD gifts...well it was a good gift. One of the best we could give our children. If more of us read to the little ones from the Bible instead of Fairy Tales, how much better this world would be. Don't get me wrong, I loved to read "live happy ever after stories" to my kids too, but we need to bring the bible back into VOGUE...

Ever wonder what would happen if we treated our Bible like we treat our cell phone?

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?

What if we flipped through it several times a day?

What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?

What if we used it to receive messages from the text?

What if we treated it like we couldn't live without it?

What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?

What if we used it when we traveled?

What if we used it in case of emergency?

This is something to make you go....hmm...where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing.

Unlike our cell phone, we don't have to worry about our Bible being
disconnected because Jesus already paid the  bill.

Makes you stop and think 'where are my priorities? And no dropped calls!

When Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of you!

  1. Loved your Post, and you are so right, I have a small Bible in my purse and it goes with me more than my cell phone. If you pick up the bible and read segments from it, you are surprised at how it fits into what is going on in you life right now, and it will help you out in every aspect of your life. Blessings to you Molly.

  2. Molly I have to wonder now if there is an app for the smartphones so that a Bible verse could be called up or just sent each day...
