Pink Saturday....sweet charm

It's time for Pink Saturday. with Beverly at How Sweet The Sound Please check out her lovely blog and all the great pink items the other bloggers have to show.....
My oldest Granddaughter Rissa is 9 yrs old and just a slip of a child, she is so tiny, but inside that little body is a whole lot of life and talent, I would love to have just 1/4 of her energy. Her favorite color is ....you guessed it.... pink...her room is done in pink and lavender, she is my pink frilly little lady, no tomboy in there.

Why is she so happy here, cause she got to wear something pink and glitzie. of course.....like I said she is a pink frilly little lady, the more sparkle and glitz the better.

Ok, I said at the start that she was very talented, Here is what she made for her me and for her other Grandmother plus all 3 of her Aunts for Christmas. Her Mom always lets her make us something for Christmas and she usually does it by herself....so needless to say I wasn't surprised to see that the back ground was...... PINK....I love the soft suddle design in the background paper and I can tell you this will be a treasure in my home for years to come. I love home made gifts and especially those that come from the heart and the heart of a child just makes it more Dear.

I hope you enjoyed my PINK Saturday and don't for get to visit the other blogger posted over at

Please pray for the people of Haiti. May God bless each and every soul.

  4. Hi Molly! This is so sweet! I love that she is crafty already at her age! I'm afraid my daughter didn't lean towards crafting and baking like I do... She did however love dancing and playing the flute, so she's just artistic in her OWN way!.. Anyways, it is always a joy watching them grow, and seeing all that they can do and accomplish!.. Happy Pink Saturday and hope you're enjoying your weekend! ~tina
