Treasure Boxes....

Last year I had the pleasure of finding Jan McGraw of the http://ladybugcreations.com/index.htm web site and instantly knew I wanted to help her and her project.
She has a program that she started to paint or make Treasure Boxes for the Shriner Children's Hospital.
I have painted several and plan to do some more this year. If you get a chance go to her treasure box link and check it out.
You don't have to just paint them. I have seen some really cute ones that card makers, scrap booker and paper artist have made. Also Jan has some really cute patterns to use that are free but only to use on the boxes.
I know these are really important to the little one who are in the hospital and can use these to save all of their little treasures like cards little toys and other items in. They are the right size to slip in the table drawer.
Here are a few that I painted, over the year.....
Please check it out and if you are led to contact Jan on her website to find out what to do.
Hope you have a blessed day.

  2. Those are precious. You are very talented. When we lived in Texarkana, and friend and I had a shop where we taught decorative painting on wood and fabric. We never made much money, but we fed our habit, and it was so much fun. Unfortunately, I don't have much time to paint anymore, but I still love it.
