Blue Monday

Today is my first time to take part in Sally's Blue Monday, so I hope you like what I have to offer. This is a figurine I found about 10 yrs ago at an Antique Mall in Hammond, La. I don't know much about it, other than it captured my heart and took me back in time to when I first got married.. On the bottom is written SPECIAL EDITION made EXCLUSIVELY for Tupperware Series 1. and is made out of porclain. The style of the dress dates it to the sixties. That would be the time Tupperware Home parties were going strong. I had a lot of them, just to earn free Tupperware...lol...And the lady usually looked just like this. Pleated skirt and jacket.
Please be sure and check out http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/ for more Blue Monday pictures.

  7. Happy Blue Monday. Thank you for your visit to my blog. This is my first visit to yours and it is nice meeting you. I love your blues for today. Years ago I used to sell tupperware. Never did really well at it, so I gave it up. But I did get a bunch of tupperware as a result of that.
